Yoga with Nikita on retreat: This retreat will be the perfect way to go deeper into your yoga experience, while bringing your focus within. A transformative and rewarding experience, this week of focused yoga will help to promote a stronger connection between mind and body, offering a truer understanding of yourself.
Our retreat days begin with a group meditation, followed by a slow and soulful vinyasa flow class. Afternoon sessions are a mix of restorative classes for deep relaxation, and workshops to help deepen your knowledge. We’ll explore pranayama, bhandas, balance work and postural alignment. In addition to the physical aspects, we will delve into the more abstract energetics of yoga, including nidra, mudra, mantra and chanting, chakras and the subtle body.
Each practitioner will be closely supported and guided on their journey, receiving a high level of individual attention. Beginners are absolutely welcome!
More about Nikita: Since 2001 Nikita has been exploring yoga and immediately fell in love with the calm that comes with it. She went on to train with Yoga Vidya Gurukul in Nashik, India and then studied with many great teachers who gave her inspiration – including David Swenson, Nadia Narain, Mimi Kuo Deemer, Jean Hall, Max Strom, Meghan Currie, Naomi Absolom and Kristen Campbell. During class, Nikita encourages and challenges her students, to explore their own potential through the physical asana and by focusing on the mind-body-breath connection.
