The company was founded in 2003, and was originally known as Inspa Retreats, specialising in luxury health, fitness and detox holidays. The in:spa brand has now become firmly established as the UK's leading provider of such holidays. In 2008, the company changed its name to The Healthy Holiday Company and, to complement the in:spa brand, launched two new holiday concepts: fitscape fitness holidays and destination yoga.
